(TeamRock Radio) Big-voiced actor Brian Blessed will appear on Manowar's upcoming reworking of classic album "Kings Of Metal" to celebrate the album's 25th anniversary.

Blessed broke the big news via Twitter by tweeting: "I had a fantastic time in the studio yesterday re-recording The Warriors Prayer. Death to false metal!"

Bassist Joey DeMaio recently said: "The new rendition will honour the original as its inspiration, but with additional energy, fully utilising the power of today's technology and 25 years of experience.

"It will contain new arrangements and changes that incorporate live performance elements added over the years. The album will feature additional bonus material and many other surprises." more on this story
