Aerosmith's Tom Hamilton was reportedly forced to drop off the band's current tour of Australia and return home for medical reasons, according to Noise 11. They report that Hamilton was sidelined by a chest infection and the band flew in The Joe Perry Project's David Hull to fill-in during Sunday night's concert in Melbourne.
Hamilton was able to perform with the band during the previous dates in Australia and New Zealand. The band has two more concerts scheduled on the leg of the tour before they head to the Philippines and then Indonesia.
The dates are part of the group's Global Warming World Tour in support of their latest studio album, "Music From Another Dimension."
