The band's 1969 show at Hyde Park is a bittersweet memory as it took place just two days after the death of Brian Jones. That's one of the reasons Wood – who wasn't in the band at the time –doubted they'd ever return. He tells The Sun: "I never thought the Stones would do it, to be quite honest.
