Daft Punk Give Fans A Taste of New Music
. Under the heading of "The Collaborators," the eight-minute clip is an interview with revered dance music pioneer Giorgio Moroder, who worked on the record (in addition to Chic leader Nile Rodgers and other rumored guests). Famous for producing dance floor hits like Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" and Blondie's "Call Me," Moroder discusses how he initially got into music, his discovery of the synthesizer and the first time he heard a Daft Punk song, with the producer stating that 2000 single "One More Time" is his top song from the helmet-wearing duo. Most importantly, Moroder delves into what to expect from Random Access Memories, Daft Punk's first proper album (as in, not a soundtrack or live album) since 2005′s Human After All. Note that the clip boasts that it's episode one of "The Collaborators" videos so it's more than likely there are more to come. Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
