(hennemusic) Green Day made headlines Friday night at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas and video of their set has now gone online.On the first of the two-night event, the band played on a bill with No Doubt, Usher, Rihanna and more.
About 30 minutes into their set, producers notified Green Day – via teleprompter – that they had one minute left on stage, causing the group to abruptly stop playing while frontman Billie Joe Armstrong addressed the situation by calling out the show's producers, flipping them a middle finger and smashing his guitar before storming off stage.
Rumour has it that Green Day's set was cut short in order to give Usher more time. Fans can now watch the band's iHeartRadio Festival set here.
