(Classic Rock) Iron Maiden will headline the UK's Download Festival on Saturday, June 15, 2013, marking the 25th anniversary of their first appearance at Donington Park.The NWOBHM giants topped the bill at Monsters of Rock in 1988 then again in 1992. They were first headliners in 2003 when Download replaced the old event with a multi-day show, and they returned once more in 2007.
And their performance, part of their current Maiden England world tour, will be based on the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son concert they delivered a quarter of a century ago. more on this story
