(hennemusic) In a recent interview with Sydney, Australia's Triple M, Slash spoke candidly about his mother's affair with David Bowie back in the day.On Monday, during an interview with Bay Area rock station 107.7 The Bone, Slash felt the need to clarify his earlier remarks.
"That was a very casual conversation with somebody on the phone in Australia that I had no idea was gonna get blown up. It became this big headline, and it was very awkward," said Slash. "I'm embarrassed 'cause I'm sure David didn't appreciate it. And my mom — rest in peace — probably wouldn't have dug it either. All it was, was they dated for a while, which is common knowledge, and all I said was there was one occasion where I happened to walk into the bedroom when they weren't fully dressed. That was it.
