(hennemusic) "Blues For Jimi," a new live package featuring Gary Moore performing Jimi Hendrix material, will be available on CD, DVD and Blu-ray on September 25.Filmed at the London Hippodrome on October 25, 2007, "Blues For Jimi" captures a unique concert featuring Moore playing classic Hendrix tracks, including "Purple Haze," "Foxy Lady," "The Wind Cries Mary," "Hey Joe," "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" and many more.
The concert was part of the launch for the Jimi Hendrix "Live At Monterey" program. A preview clip of Moore performing Jimi's blues classic, "Red House," can be seen here.
