(hennemusic) Metallica paid tribute to Green Day at the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans on Saturday when they headlined the second of the three-day event at New Orleans City Park following a cancellation by the punk rockers."They're getting help, alright, they're getting it sorted out," Metallica's James Hetfield told the New Orleans crowd. "We're here stepping up for them. Hopefully, he gets it together 'cause the world needs them, alright. I think so."
Metallica then jammed the opening of the title track to Green Day's 2004 album, "American Idiot," before launching into their own classic, "Creeping Death." Check out video here.
