Matisyahu will be kicking off his sixth annual "Festival Of Light" tour on December 8th. His camp sent over these details:
"Festival of Light"--traditionally eight shows on the east coast--for the first time in its history kicks off on the West Coast with An Acoustic Evening With Matisyahu live at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco,and features additional acoustic performances in Stroudsburg, PA and at the newly re-opened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. The full band joins Matisyahu for Festival of Light performances in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and a special performance at New York City's Terminal 5
Fall College Tour kicks off Tuesday, October 10th.This year's "Festival of Light" will offer audiences a career-spanning look at Matisyahu's lauded catalogue. The shows will feature his classic hits, songs off Spark Seeker as well as Matisyahu's hand-picked selections for his fans. Matisyahu has created a custom-built live experience for his audiences during each of these seven performances. Four of his seven shows are intimate acoustic performances and for the remaining three, Matisyahu will be backed by his talented band, Brooklyn's The Dub Trio.
Matisyahu had a whirlwind summer, successfully releasing his fourth studio album, Spark Seeker on July 17th, which debuted in the Billboard Top 20 to wide critical acclaim, co-headlining an extensive tour with the Dirty Heads and making his acting debut in Lionsgate's #1 box-office hit film, "The Possession." Next, Matisyahu will be performing at the highly anticipated Dalai Lama One World peace Concert in Syracuse, NY on October 9th alongside Dave Matthews, Nas, Cyndi Lauper, Roberta Flack and more. He then embarks on a US College tour kicking off on October 10th in Ft. Collins, CO.
