(hennemusic) Deep Purple will release the 40th Anniversary Edition deluxe box set of their 1972 album classic, "Machine Head," on October 8th and a new trailer has gone online to promote it. The new box set features 5 discs and will be accompanied with fully illustrated 60 page hardback booklet, housed in a luxury box.
In other news, the band are among the first-time nominees considered for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame's Class of 2013, alongside candidates like Rush, Heart, Joan Jett and a dozen others. Read more details about the box set and watch the trailer here.
