Nielsen SoundScan announced that Adele's runaway hit album 21 has now sold more than 10 million copies.Appropriately enough that means that 21 has become the 21st album to 10 million sales threshold since 1991, the beginning of the SoundScan era, according to Billboard.
The music industry publication reports that 21 is also the third album in 2012 to hit the 10 million sales mark. Earlier this year Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory and Usher's Confessions passed that milestone. Read the Billboard report for more details.
