Downstait were forced to delay the kick off of their headlining tour due to illness. The band canceled the first three dates of the trek which were to take place this weekend. The group has issued the following statement regarding the health of bassist/vocalist, Sean Arata: "It is with great regret that we have to pull out of the Shreveport, LA (11-23), Houma, LA (11-24), and Houston, TX (11-25) shows. Sean is currently running a fever of 103. This proves to be a particularly huge problem for us as we are currently traveling and sleeping in a Toyota Sequoia, so we'd all undoubtedly end up sick as well.
"Our live show is very important to us and Sean plays a very large part, vocally, to the band's live sound. We'd hate for anybody to feel cheated at a Downstait show by an inadequate performance. We hope to make it up to everybody planning to see Downstait at these shows very soon and we apologize for any inconveniences this has caused."
