(popmusiclife) Mariah Carey is featured in the latest promo for American Idol and discusses how she sees herself in some of the hopefuls. The pop diva joined the show for the upcoming season, along with new judges Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban, and returning member Randy Jackson.
"I didn't have a show like Idol," says Mariah. "I waitressed and did all these other things I hear a lot of the contestants talk about doing. I always sang and I always wrote; it's just having that ambition you really can't let go of your dreams. When I see that
