Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted has returned to the public eye with the launch of his new website: newstedheavymetal.com. The site launched with a new video from Jason and this introduction: "Jason Newsted here, it's really me... LOOK!!
"It's time for me to reconnect with all my fans and friends out there around the world with the launch of my OFFICIAL online presence.
"I want YOU to be the first to know about what's happening with me and all of my projects: past, present, and FUTURE!."
The site features a news section, a gallery, discography, newsletter sign-up, social media links and Jason's very own online store. Now word yet if this cyber return will lead to a musical return, but now fans know where to check to stay informed. Perhaps, the "Jason is Back" t-shirt is another big clue.
