(Gibson) Kings of Leon have announced a tour of the UK in June of next year as part of a larger European tour. The group are planning 6 shows, two each in London, Birmingham, and Manchester. So far only the UK dates have been announced, and tickets go on sale Friday November 9. All dates are arena shows, with the band playing the O2 Arena in London, so expect tickets to go fast.
Kings of Leon have been on hiatus for most of the year, but played a concert Brazil on October 20 as part of the Planeta Terra Festival. The band is currently working on their sixth studio album, the follow up to Come Around Sundown from 2010. Bassist Jared Followill recently released EP1 with his side project Smoke & Jackal, a band he started with Nick Brown from the group Mona. more on this story
