Aerosmith have lined up a number of high profile TV appearances to promote next Tuesday's release of their new album, Music From Another Dimension.The band's first album of all-new material in more than 11 years will be released November 6 on Columbia Records but they TV performances kick off today.
Things will kick tonight Thursday, November 1 with the band performing on "The Late Show with David Letterman," with Tyler and Perry sitting down to talk with Letterman as well. The next morning (Friday, November 2), Aerosmith will perform an outdoor concert on NBC's "The Today Show."
Then Tyler and Perry will join the ladies of "The View," and the band will also be interviewed on "VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live."
Later that day, the band will appear at an exclusive SiriusXM "Town Hall" event at the SiriusXM NYC studios. Aerosmith will answer a variety of questions from a live audience of SiriusXM winners and subscribers about the band's new album and career.
Next, Aerosmith will throw a street party in their beloved Boston hometown on the day before Election Day, Monday, November 5. They're planning to show up somewhere in the city, around noon, and play on the streets. That's all the band is able to reveal for now. They will announce the location the morning of November 5.
Aerosmith return for the second leg of The Global Warming Tour launching November 8. The month-long, 14-city arena tour will take the band to New York City (Madison Square Garden), Los Angeles (Staples Center) and Las Vegas (MGM Grand Garden Arena), among other cities.
