(Classic Rock) Slash has revealed the last words he said to Axl Rose before walking out on Guns N' Roses. The guitarist explains it took him 24 hours to decide to reject Rose's offer of a new contract in 1996. But he adds that, as far as he's concerned, he didn't leave the band he'd co-founded he just refused to become part of a new outfit with the old name.Talking to Piers Morgan, Slash unsurprisingly says he doesn't want to talk about the GnR split for the rest of his life. "It's a lot of attention put on a lot of negative stuff," he says. "It existed, and it might still exist but dwelling on it
