(Gibson) Spinal Tap singer-guitarist Michael McKean is recovering in a Manhattan hospital after being struck by a car Tuesday (May 22) in New York. As reported by New York's Daily News, the 64-year-old actor-musician was first taken to St. Luke's Hospital, in critical condition.
His condition has since been upgraded to stable, and the worst of his injuries appears to be a broken leg. McKean's publicist, Harriet Sternberg, characterized the accident as "devastating," but added that McKean is expected to be "okay." "He'll be fine," she said. more on this story
