First Aid Kit will be returning to North American this summer for special festival appearances and again this fall for headlining tour. First Aid Kit are on the road in support of their sophomore album, The Lion's Roar, which was released in January.
The tour will launch on September 25th at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI and wrap up on October 19th at the Roseland Theater in Portland, OR, and includes two New York shows on September 29th at Irving Plaza and on September 30th at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
The band will also return to the US briefly this summer to perform at the Newport Folk Festival on July 28th and at Lollapalooza on August 3rd-5th, as well as for a headlining show at Altar in Pittsburgh, PA on July 31st. First Aid Kit is already confirmed to support Jack White on eight European shows in June as well as to perform at multiple European summer festivals, including Roskilde, Latitude Festival, Way Out West, Oyafestivalen, End Of The Road Festival, and Bestival.
