(Gibson) Sonisphere Festival U.K. has been canceled, according to a statement Queen posted on their website, Queenonline.com. Queen, with Adam Lambert, were set to be one of the headliners at the festival, which was to take place at Knebworth Park on July 6-8.
"It is with very heavy hearts and much regret that we announce the cancellation of Sonisphere Knebworth 2012," read the statement. An official statement from the festival organizers has yet to come.
