The Academy Is' William Beckett Going Solo

(FCM) Former The Academy Is frontman William Beckett plans to release a series of solo EPs in 2012.

The first release, Walk the Talk, will be available on April 17 through YIKE Records, with two additional EPs to be released in July and October.

Beckett will take his new tunes on the road this spring, with a headlining tour beginning May 4 in Minneapolis.
