The original line-up of Bad Company have announced their first appearances on the European continent since 1975. The band, Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, and Simon Kirke, will hit the road for a short run of European festival dates for this summer.
Commencing on June 9, the ensemble will take the stage at the Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg. Additional appearances will include five German Rock The Nation Festival performances in Berlin (6/11), Stuttgart (6/12), Augsburg (6/14), Trier (6/15) and Monchengladbach / Cologne (6/16).
This excursion marks the first time that Bad Company has performed on the European continent together in 37 years. The April, 2010 release Bad Company Live at Wembley (DVD / Blu-Ray, Eagle Rock) has been a chart staple worldwide for the past year.
In December, Bad Company front man and main songwriter Paul Rodgers released a new studio recording titled "With Our Love." The song was shared with fans and the public on his 62nd birthday, with one hundred percent of the proceeds earmarked for the charities The Racehorse Sanctuary & Rocking Horse Children's Charity and Seraphim 12 Foundation. The composition was co-written and performed with Perry Margouleff.
