No Sleep Records have set an August 14th release date for Mountain Man's new EP, which is entitled Two.To give fans a taste of what is to come, the band is currently streaming one of the four tracks online. You can listen to "Take Out The Sun" here
Drawing influences from the likes of Swans, Neurosis and even Tom Waits, Mountain Man meld turbulent riffs, fierce rhythm and aggressive vocals resulting in a whirlwind of intense hardcore. Mountain Man's follow-up to 2010's EP, One, and their full-length album, Grief, Two expands on the band's previous efforts musically and lyrically with darker and more atmospheric elements.
