(hennemusic) Def Leppard fans know 2012 is the summer of Rock Of Ages. The UK rockers have issued a newly-recorded version of their hit of the same name from 1983's "Pyromania," they've used the song to name their summer tour with Poison and Lita Ford, and the Broadway play-turned-movie Rock Of Ages - starring Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand and Julianne Hough - hits theatres June 15.The film is a love story told through the music of Bon Jovi, Journey, Poison, Twisted Sister and other artists from the 1980s.
Cruise plays Stacee Jaxx, the biggest rock star in the world; in the film, he sings renditions of Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and Guns N' Roses' "Paradise City."
