(hennemusic) Slash recently sat down with Time magazine to discuss his past, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame event, and the difference between his first solo album and the new one."[The first solo] record was what I would consider an isolated, one-off project, that's something I think I had in the back of my mind for a while. When I finally had the opportunity to do it, I did it," explains Slash. "What happened was I met Myles Kennedy and he sang a couple of songs, and so we did a tour to support that record, and it was during the tour that I thought I should make another record and just do it with just him."
Slash kicks off a series of UK and European dates starting June 6 at London's Hammersmith Apollo. Watch the interview clip here.
