Canvasback Music have set a September 18th North American release date for Alt-J's debut album An Awesome Wave.In its first week at iTunes, the album has held the number 1 position on the UK Alternative chart. The track "Fitzpleasure" is already receiving airplay at tastemaking radio stations KCRW Los Angeles, KEXP Seattle, KCMP Minneapolis, and WFUV New York. The band will be hitting the road and visiting the US for some tour dates in August, kicking off with the band's return to Los Angeles on August 1. The band will also play shows in Chicago and New York City.
