Second To Last have tapped Joe Lacy (Sleepsick, ex-Transit) to replace former guitarist Pat Mays. Lacy has become a permanent member of the group and will be playing guitar and singing vocals. Drummer Kristopher Ruiz rounds out the trio's new lineup.
"I will be playing guitar and singing most of the songs with Tyson," Lacy announced in an exclusive interview with PropertyOfZack. "I'm really excited to focus more on my guitar playing and helping Second To Last come up with a new direction."
Lacy's emo influences will surely play a new role in the creative process of writing. After a summer tour together, Second To Last and Sleepsick will write and record a split EP to release, and writing for a Second To Last full-length will begin after that.
Second To Last's new EP, Vessel, will be available on June 5.
