(Gibson) Guitar great Eric Clapton, affectionately dubbed "God" by guitar enthusiasts in the '60s, may be a veteran but he's still raking in the cash.According to the Independent newspaper, Clapton has recently filed the accounts for his Marshbrook business, the company that runs his music and touring interests and the leasing of his luxury yacht (the six-bedroom Va Bene that can be rented for £179,000 a week).
Marshbrook's revenue was a cool £12m ($18 million), thanks to an increase in touring revenue. Clapton paid himself £3.98m ($6 million) for the year ending March 31. more on this story
