(Rock News Desk) Riot guitarist Mark Reale is in a coma after suffering a brain hemorrhage as a result of his continuing battle against Crohn's Disease.The band last week announced he'd miss some live shows after being taken to intensive care, and that his condition was critical. Now they've confirmed Reale, 56, the only founding member to remain in Riot since they formed in 1975, has been unconscious for nine days. The severity of his illness before his collapse meant he'd been unable to record his own parts on their upcoming album.
His webmaster reports: "Mark had a subarachnoid hemorrhage and that is why he's still in a coma since January 11, when he was rushed to hospital. more on this story
