(Rock News Desk) If Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor had got the job of singing with Velvet Revolver, he'd have "bridged the gap" between Axl Rose and Scott Weiland, he insists. And he believes it would have allowed the band to enjoy themselves much more than when they worked with the two wayward singers.Taylor says it's important to give fans what they want, and that's what he'd have done. "I would have tried to basically build a bridge between what they had with Axl and what they had with Scott, but with a little more good-time feel to it.
"I think in a lot of ways they could have relaxed a little bit, knowing they wouldn't have to worry about, 'What's the singer going to do? Are we going to be able to go on stage on time? Are we going to be able to play our show without a fit being thrown?" more on this story
