Century Media sent over word that Rise to Remain have been forced to pull out their first American tour, where they were set to support Machine Head. The label says the reason for the cancelation is that the band has parted company with their bass player Joe Copcutt and drummer Pat Lundy. Vocalist Austin Dickinson (son of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson), guitarists Ben Tovey and Will Horner plan to announce new members and still hit the road in the UK and Europe this March for their previously announced headlining tour (with Heaven Shall Burn supporting them).
The U.S. release of the band's debut album City Of Vultures has now been moved to June 5th (from January 24th), when they plan to part in an extensive soon-to-be-announced North American tour.
The American album release will also feature exclusive new material that recorded in the coming months, according to Century Media.
