(Gibson) Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl is crushing on Adele. At least, it seems that way. The grunge vocalist, songwriter and drummer recently said that he feels "honored" to be competing with the 21 singer at the Grammy Awards this weekend. Its' a sign, he says, that the Foos are doing something right. As if he needed a sign!"I'm glad that we're with Adele in the same category," Grohl told the AP. "It means we've done something right. I think she gives us all hope. She's made an incredible record, and she's an incredibly talented artist, so maybe it is true that the cream actually rises to the top
It's good. It's inspiring when something legitimate gets recognized for what it is. It's such a clichι, but it's a huge achievement to be nominated."
When Grohl hits the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday, February 12, for the show, don't expect him to feel self-conscious that he's one of the more mature guys in the room. "It feels great to be the guy with gray hair in his beard who is still invited to these things," Grohl said. "Twenty years ago, I never thought I'd even have a career in music this long." more on this story
