(EAR) Cauldron have reacted to their 2012 Juno Awards nomination (the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards.)Cauldron have been nominated for their latest album, Burning Fortune, in the "Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year" category, alongside fellow Canadian musicians Anvil, Devin Townsend Project, F*** The Facts and Ken Mode.
Cauldron guitarist Ian Chains comments: "Nice to see heavy metal getting some acknowledgement in Canada. It doesn't matter if it's not mainstream and not everyone gets it. There's still a great level of artistic value within and a lot of hard work that goes into every aspect of what these bands do. We're proud to know that our achievements, however small when compared to mainstream acts, are still getting some recognition. Lay down your soul to the god's rock 'n' roll!"
