A judge has dismissed a $20 million extortion lawsuit filed by Jennifer Lopez against her former driver. Lopez filed the countersuit against former employee Hakob Manoukian, who had sued the pop star, claiming he was forced to resign after being publicly berated by her manager Benny Medina, reports Starpulse.
Lopez claimed that Hakob demanded $2.8 million from her to not talk to the media about secrets he may have heard while working for her.
A judge dismissed the countersuit by Lopez after Hakob's attorney filed a motion to dismiss where it was claimed Lopez was trying to punish the former employee for filing his lawsuit against her, according to the report.
