(hennemusic) Robert Plant joined Patty Griffin on stage at the Continental Club in Austin, Texas on Saturday to perform several tracks, including reworked versions of Led Zeppelin classics. Among the Zeppelin tunes performed were "Black Dog," "Ramble On," "Going To California," "What Is And What Should Never Be" and "Thank You."
The show was a benefit for injured and uninsured Austin musician Michael Fracasso — a longtime friend of Griffin's — and the Health Alliance For Austin Musicians medical assistance program.
Plant recently confirmed that he has contributed to Griffin's next album, saying, "It's a brilliant record. I just joined her on a couple of songs, which we wrote together. It's great stuff, it's really good." Watch videos of the jams here.
