Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic says in a new interview that he is more than open to a tour with Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth fronting the group. hennemusic reports: Nirvana recently reunited for drummer Dave Grohl's new documentary, "Sound City." Grohl, bassist Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear teamed up with Paul McCartney to record a new song, "Cut Me Some Slack," for the project and its companion soundtrack.
In a new interview with The Daily Beast, Novoselic was asked if he would tour with McCartney as the band leader for a full-scale Nirvana reunion tour. He replied, "Absolutely I would."
Asked if he would tour with Van Halen's David Lee Roth as frontman, Novoselic said, "I love David Lee Roth. I would tour with David Lee Roth because I think he's great.
"And it wouldn't be some oldies review: if we put a band together and we were making music and we felt good about it – and there was that passion and that spark – I'd do it in a second."
