Kelly Clarkson had big news to share with fans on her Twitter account on Saturday: the very first American Idol winner is now engaged. "I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night!" Clarkson told fans via the social media website Saturday evening (December 15).
"I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever," she said of her fiancι, Brandon Blackstock whom she has been dating for almost a year.
Blackstock, a talent manager, is the stepson of country star Reba McEntire. Clarkson was reportedly acquainted with him for years but their romance began after they saw each other at the Super Bowl in February.
