Pittsburgh Celebrates Wiz Khalifa Day

(CBS Local) Yesterday, December 11th was declared Wiz Khalifa day in the City of Pittsburgh.

The proclamation was made Tuesday by Pittsburgh City Councilman William Peduto.

Born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, Wiz Khalifa is a graduate of Taylor Alderdice and an avid Pittsburgh promoter. His song "Black and Yellow" has become an anthem of Pittsburgh pride. Khalifa told reporters, "it's cool to be cool in other places, but when your hometown embraces you, it makes you feel really good." more on this story
