(CBS Local) What's portrayed on live television isn't always 100% accurate. When American Idol's Colton Dixon stopped by CBS Local we had to ask him what fans of the show would be shocked to learn.He stressed that there's a lot of work that goes into the show. "I know I didn't realize it before I was on the show. I had watched since Season 1. I figured, 'Oh man, it looks so glamorous. They're in a mansion!' Which, we sleep in a mansion, that's about it," he said. "Good luck to next year's contestants, that's all I'm going to say."
