Matisyahu has announced that he will be embarking on a headlining nationwide college tour this fall and making his film debut."I'm looking forward to taking the show directly to college kids this fall" says Matisyahu. "I've played a lot of these markets in past summers. To be able to return when school is in session and kids are on campus is something I've wanted to do for a while."
In other news, Matisyahu makes his film debut later this month, starring alongside Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in Sam Raimi's Lionsgate horror film, The Possession, in theaters on August 31st. Matisyahu plays the role of Tzadok, a Jewish exorcist attempting to save the fate of a young girl possessed by an evil spirit trapped in a dibbuk.
