Saving Grace have had another lineup change, parting ways with Mike Benson who they brought on to play bass in 2010. The group issued these details:Benson came on board to expand the band to a five piece which saw bassist George White step in on second guitar duties.
Mike has stepped down from Saving Grace after appearing on the band's latest full length 'The King is Coming' and supporting festivals and tour dates across USA, Australia and New Zealand.
George White has once again assumed the position of bassist and a permanent replacement has been found with Ross McDougall (ex-Evil Priest, The Warpath, Antagonist AD) filling the position of second guitarist.
The band are currently on a headlining tour of New Zealand before returning to Australia in September as headliners of Exo Day Festival alongside Impending Doom and Family Force 5.
The band states "We are extremely grateful for the time that Mike commited to Saving Grace and he is still one of our closest and best friends. We know how hard it is doing a touring band while starting a family and we wish him and Gemma all the best for their wedding in October. Forever Family. Forever True"
Saving Grace have plans to return to the United States next spring for Facedown Fest and a full North American tour.
