Grateful Dead fans will have a lot to be grateful for in September as Rhino plans two new special releases from the legendary touring band. They sent us these details: On September 1, Dead.net will begin shipping SPRING 1990, an 18-disc boxed set that spotlights six complete shows (one from each city visited on the tour) from this historic outing that is widely considered one of the group's most excellent tours in their 30 years on the road. The collection – limited to 9,000 individually numbered copies.
The on September 18th they will release "Spring 1990: So Glad You Made It," a 2-CD set that features 20 favorite unreleased tracks from the box set.
