Nettwerk Records have set a May 15th digital release date for Joshua Hyslop's debut his first full-length, Where The Mountain Meets The Valley. A physical release will follow on July 3rd. Nettwerk sent over this background:
In his early 20s, Hyslop composes beautiful melodies; showcasing his unforgettable vocal harmonies. Inspired by an array of artists - Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, Iron & Wine – Hyslop has developed his own kind of artfully-rendered Americana.
In anticipation of the album's release, Hyslop shares "Do Not Let Me Go," a song written in a quasi-conscious state – the words that surface when you think they are your last. After enduring two near-death experiences, the lyrics are wrenching, intimate and redemptive.
