(TMZ) A collection of five vintage guitars belonging to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers -- worth a reported $175,000 -- have been recovered by law enforcement ... after they were stolen last week.The guitars were swiped from a Culver City soundstage in L.A. -- and Tom took to Twitter to help recover them, offering a $7,500 reward ... no questions asked.
The Culver City PD tells us, one man has been arrested in connection with the theft. It's unclear if the guitars have been returned to the band.
Tom Petty's people had no comment. more on this story
