(SM) Three separate versions of Sarah Darling's "Blackbird" video are now in rotation at CMT, GAC and TCN. Sarah Darling recorded the Sir Paul McCartney's classic "Blackbird" as a part of "Let Us In" Nashville - A Tribute To Linda McCartney to benefit The Woman and Cancer Fund.
Each version is unique, from capturing the making of the record, to behind the scenes footage at rehearsals, and Darling's live performance debut of "Blackbird" for the "Let Us In" benefit concert last fall.
Shortly after premiering on CMT, "Blackbird" debuted on CMT's Top 20 Countdown, debuted at #1 on CMT Pure's 12 Pack for 2 consecutive weeks, and reached #1 on CMT.com, currently #2 on CMT.com High 5.
GAC aired their special version Monday, April 16 as a part of "Out of the Box," and another unique version of "Blackbird" is in rotation at TCN.
Sarah Darling's heartfelt rendition of "Blackbird" is available on iTunes and can also be heard on SiriusXM's The Highway. Legendary producer, and lead guitar player on the track, Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts) helped Darling make "Blackbird" her own and they are currently in the studio working on Darling's upcoming album to be released via Black River Entertainment in 2012.
