This Providence will release a brand new EP, called Brier, on May 1st following up this week's release of a new single entitled "Trouble". The EP was produced by Matt Grabe (The Maine, A Rocket To The Moon, The Summer Set) and will be released via the band's new imprint Magic Mike Records.
With the self-release of the Brier EP next month, and while in the midst of a cross country tour with Go Radio, This Providence is looking ahead at a new chapter for the band, and they invite their fans to join them. As Young explained in a statement to www.Altpress.com last month, "I can not wait to release these gems. If you live in the States, chances are we'll be playing somewhere close to you. If not, change your definition of close. I'll be spending the next two months with four other overly sensitive musicians, in an unpretentious, American-made, 15-passenger van, driving thousands of miles all over this liberated piece of dirt! Why don't you come out and return the favor? Show us a little enthusiasm! We're looking to make our mark in music, things feel different. It's exciting. Don't wish us luck, be a part of this."
