Overall, he has sold an astonishing 200 million records. He's been in jazz bands (Brand X), was in The Beatles' Hard Day's Night in 1964 at age 13 and was the wicked Uncle Ernie in a Los Angeles stage production of The Who's Tommy. He's produced Eric Clapton, Earth Wind & Fire's Philip Bailey, John Martyn and Adam Ant. He played drums on Robert Plant's first two solo albums as well as on his solo first tour. He's written for the Broadway stage and won an Oscar for writing "You'll Be In My Heart" from the movie Tarzan. He was inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame with Genesis in 2010.
