Fiona Apple will be hitting the road in June for a North American summer tour in support of her first new album in seven years. The new album is set to hits stores on June 19th and Fiona will launch the tour the same day with the kick off gig in Ithaca, NY.
The run, which will include performances at The Governors Ball Music Festival on New York City's Randall's Island (June 24) and Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium (July 13), will conclude at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA on July 29.
Like Apple's 1999 record, When the Pawn..., the new album's title is a poem: The Idler Wheel Is Wiser / Than The Driver Of The Screw / And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More / Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
