Nirvana fans can head over to Vevo.com today for their exclusive commercial-free 24-hour on-demand airing of the band's 1991 concert, Live at Paramount. The high definition concert can be seen on-demand in most countries around the globe at VEVO, YouYube and VEVO Mobile today, Tuesday, September 27 beginning at 12 Noon ET / 5pm GMT. A 24-hour encore will air Monday, October 31, the actual 20th anniversary of the concert.
Vevo's 24-hour offering marks the first time portions of the concert, shot October 31, 1991 at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, will be shown online. Live at Paramount is the only known Nirvana concert shot to film.
Live at Paramount is included in the Nevermind 20th anniversary deluxe set, which Universal Music Enterprises will release on Tuesday, September 27. With configurations ranging from a 4-CD/1-DVD Super Deluxe Edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album, the 20th anniversary reissue unearths dozens of previously unreleased recordings, obscure B-sides, alternate mixes, radio sessions, studio rarities and live recordings, including the Live at Paramount concert available for the first time on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
